Boba Master
Tips and FAQs.
Drawing a card.
Upon drawing a card from another player’s hand or the deck, it is activated immediately. If the drawn card is a tool card and can advance the players step, proceed to do so. If the drawn card is an action card, proceed to follow the instructions on the card if possible. In the event that a tool card is exchanged in result of an action card, the tool card is not to be activated. i.e., when a Swap Boba is drawn, tools that are being passed between another player cannot be activated. When the Tape card is drawn, the chosen tool card cannot be activated when the tool card is being picked up (the tool is being repaired, not to be used).
Swap Boba.
In a 2-5 players game. The Swap Boba is allowed to be played on a completed bubble tea. This adds to the chaos and uncertainty which makes it fun.
2 Player Variant
To speed up the 2 player experience a little you can remove the Peek, Butterfingers and Stir cards. These cards can be a little redundant.
Tag and Tape
If Tape were to be revealed before Tag, nothing happens and the Tape goes into the players hand. If a Tag were to be revealed, pick a tool card to get 'discarded' into the centre (pg 3). This means the tools in the centre are now out of play. Only if you use Tape can you retrieve the tools from the centre again (pg 3). The tool card that has been chosen cannot be activated when the tool card is being picked up.
